Adios Argentina
15th March, 2008The sun is shining over the Beagle Channel as our team sings “Happy Birthday” for Delando, today´s birthday boy. Some of us have spent the first part of the day hiking while others have taken the opportunity to do some last minute shopping in the fantabulous city of Ushuaia. After a nice photo session on the dock, we gave a last farewell to our U.S. office, represented by Anne and Tiffany before boarding our new home. We were given a warm welcome by our international crew, who were nice enough to show every one of us the inside of M/S Ushuaia´s life rafts. As this is being written, our team is assembling in the dining area for tonight´s vegetarian feast, and we are all ready to take on the infamous Drake Passage. Thanks to expedition leader Peter´s new satellite toy, we can now post our updates from the ship! Stay tuned for news about our adventures across the Drake Passage

Am following your journey with enormous fervour. I just love the pics coupled with the diary reports. I almost feel as if I am there with you all. Eager anticipation awaits every day for more news. Especially now that drake Passage is looming ever closer…..!!!!!!!!! Good Luck safe passage.

We are glad to see that our great teacher, Wendy, has arrived safely in Ushuaia ! Our thoughts go with her now (and everybody else) for the days to come and the crossing ahead! Good luck Wendy! Post some more pictures! We love it! Pauline, Justine and Josiane
