Become inspired
22nd March, 2008Hi family and friends,
We did so many things these passing days that I tend to get confused in the days!!! I am having a terrific time. The combination of leadership on the edge training and visiting this amazing continent is just great. Although when whales are spotted the team leaders have a hard time getting us all back inside to continue the training!!! We have seen hunchback whales, orca whales, gentoo penguins, seals and different species of birds. Yesterday we had a leadership on the edge training on the edge of a glacier!!!! They even took a flip chart along!!! We had a beautiful view over Charlotte´s bay. Nick is a good trainer but in this part of the world it seems like all the time he needs to compete against nature. This time it was a disintegration of a huge iceberg just in front of our eyes in the bay below us!!! Reminding us of global warming…… Back un the boat we had to pack our stuff for our one night camping on the ice trip. We camped on top of a glacier at Dorian bay. It was cold but I felt very warm and comfortable in the sleeping bag. Actually I slept better in this tent on top of the glacier then all the other nights on the boat!!!! Today we saw incredible beautiful Icebergs. I can’t get enough of the forms!!! The group is great. We are getting to know each other and we have a lot of fun, good conversations and discussions. I miss you all, Michael lots of kisses, wish you all could be here to become as inspired as we are already. Antarctica has won the hearts of all of us. A new expression of gladness is born: “feel like you are on the bottom of the world!!!!” I wish you all a happy Easter!!!
Regards,
Diane Copini-Rigaud

Hi Diane, It’s Easter sunday now in Holland. Blue skies and easy weather. Funny that we are far away from eachother and still though this medium we are able to enjoy your adventure. And enjoying is what we do. Reading and talking about the texts we receive. We are very proud that you are doing this! Keep up the good work! Frans and Wies, Holland

O shon konta,
hopi tempu. Mi ta bira jaloers pisa ora mi lesa bo eksperienshanan. Hoezo climate change? Kisas nos ta topa. Tur kos bon. Fuerte abraso,
Rudy

Hi Diane, Curacao is still sporting great sunshine, but as I’ve read T-shirts were also appropriate in Antactica! Unbelievable! I’ve enjoyed reading all your updates on your extraordinary adventure. I’m sure you will have a few more breath taking moments to cherish forever. We are anxiously awaiting A3’s return to hear all about your experiences! Take care and keep us posted! Cheers, Barbara

Hi Diane,
What a wonderful journey you and all the other expedition members have made: a journey full of wonders! We have very much appreciated the chance of following so close by your experiences via this medium. Really very worthwhile to be able to know what you very very lucky people are witnessing and undergoing. You Diane and other teammembers clearly communicate to us in other parts of the world that Antarctica is a very special and important part of our earth which we have to foster as a precious new-born child. We hope that that her birthday in 2041 will be a joyous one. Also wonderful to read your meetings with various whales and other animals. We were impressed by the way you were in awe of the icebergs with it’s structure and blueish colours. Wonderful that via you and your two other ‘Curasolenos’ we now on Curacao have a straight connection to the Antarctica! We are looking forward strongly to start hearing and seeing about the expedition when you 3 are back in Curacao. Enjoy the rest of your journey and welcome back and we wish you a lot of strength with the saying goodbye to that wondrous part of our earth!
