Leadership on the Edge

The Leadership on the Edge training program provides team members with the opportunity to assess their existing leadership skills, giving them the time and space to decide whether these will be the most appropriate leadership tools for their future. Given the unique venue, and the committed support from each team member, Antarctica will provide the perfect avenue to make such decisions. The framework of the program is based upon the lessons learned so far by Robert Swan and his team.

With five years to go until the third world summit in 2012, where the existing Kyoto Protocol for the Environment will expire, the threat of climate change is apparent to us all. This threat was highlighted further by Al Gore’s eye-opening ‘Inconvenient Truth’, which helped clarify the issue of climate change with the global audience.

It is our mission to inform, engage and inspire existing leaders, and the next generation of leaders, to take personal responsibility for the future of the environment. This will result in policy development, business generation and future technologies that will lead towards a sustainable future. It will require changes in our attitudes and the way we behave.

Your leadership now could be integral to making a difference to the generations of the future. Team members are asked to bring their existing knowledge and expertise to Antarctica, so they can participate and engage with fellow team members on this truly unique and memorable expedition.
