Nicola’s initial thoughts on climate change…

Having been involved with environmental issues all of my working life I have always tried to express a balanced view, not avoided the issue and tried to make other people aware of the reasons behind climate change and the resulting impacts that we are seeing and could potentially experience in the future. I always use expression and try not to become an environmental bore!

Russell’s initial thoughts on climate change…

I must be honest and say up until hearing about 2041 and Robert Swan I only knew very little and it hadn’t really impacted on my life. But since learning more and seeing what’s happening and being a father and knowing it’s my own children and grand kids its affecting it becomes more personal.

Mark’s initial thoughts on climate change…

I work with micro-generation technologies and regularly speak at exhibitions and conferences about climate change and micro-generation. I find it amazing that when I speak to people after these events that they didn’t realize that it is so easy to make simple changes – simple changes that reduce energy consumption and therefore have the double benefit of reducing co2 emissions and saving people money! Through understanding more about how I use energy I have reduced my gas and electricity bills by around 40% - just by making small changes.
